Abstrak
The purpose of this study is to determine the economic value which is contained in Garutan gemstone, as one of the driving forces for small and medium industries in Garut district especially during the Covid 19 pandemic that hit the world. This research focuses on the potential economic value that can be seen from three dimensions, namely selling power, the marketing industry and the promotion system. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The technique of determining the informants in this study is purposive sampling, while the data collection method in this study uses semi-structured interviews and documentation. The data validity test used in this study is the triangulation of sources. The data analysis techniques used in this study are reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification
