Abstrak
Abstract
One of the problems that are often found during the Covid-19 pandemic is the lack of public awareness,
especially the residents of Sukagalih Village, in regularly checking their health. This is exacerbated by the
existence of restrictions on activities that make people stay at home and do less activities that can nourish
the body. Group 2 KKN Sukagalih village from Garut University wants to provide a form of caring for
others by providing counseling and health checks, especially for common diseases in Indonesia such as
hypertension, diabetes, hyperuricemia and cholesterol, therefore community service is carried out to
residents of Sukagalih village as a disease monitoring measure. Examination using the POCT (Point Of
Care Testing) method involving 53 residents, the results obtained indicate that there are still many
residents who do not pay attention to their health and rarely carry out routine checks to health facilities,
seen from the results of examination of blood levels that exceed the recommended limit of World Health
Organization (WHO).
