Abstrak

The purpose of this study is to look for factors that encourage tourists to come to Mount Guntur Garut and to find the most dominant factors that encourage tourists to come to Mount Guntur Garut. This research method is quantitative with descriptive and exploratory types, surveys conducted by conducting interviews and distributing questionnaires, interviews conducted to explore the factors that encourage tourists to come to Mount Guntur Garut which are then asked to use quantitative research using exploratory factor analysis, questionnaires distributed in 100 respondents using the Accidental Sampling method. The results show that of the 8 factors tested then reduced to 3 factors, namely object and natural tourism attraction factors, safety factors and challenges and entrance fee factors. The object and attraction factor of natural tourism is the most dominant factor because it has the biggest eigenvalues ​​which is 4,371. Mount Guntur is one of the most popular mountains in Garut Regency, the implications of this study can be taken into consideration in the development of tourism by tourism managers of Mount Guntur in the future.
